Initial Inquiry: A phone call is all it takes to begin to understand the scope of your project. For best results be prepared with ideas of the length and height of the wall you would like built. Time: 15 min-1 hr
Optional Educational Webinars: New to climbing wall development and operations? Let us know and we’ll arrange a complimentary conference call in conjunction with an online Powerpoint presentation. The presentation covers important topics related to designing the space for your wall, choosing the right type of wall and determining what equipment and flooring would work best for you. Time: 1 hr
Optional Consulting: Our consulting program can save you time and money and covers topics ranging from project feasibility to site and detailed business planning. You’ll spend an entire day with us having your questions answered personally and then go home with a copy of the original Boulder Rock Club business plan and 10 years of actual financial data. Cost: $2,000 (price applied to climbing wall when you build). Time: 1 full day
Proposal and Contracting: Proposals can be emailed for speed or mailed as a complete package to present to banks or investors. After a proposal is accepted, we finalize a written contract detailing all aspects of the project. Time: depends on you!
Design and Modeling: The design process is a critical part of your wall project and we believe we have the best designers in the industry. Your wall is designed using scale models and CAD drawings. Time: dependent on responsive design approval, normally 2 weeks.
Engineering & Fabrication: We submit the approved design, floor plans, elevations and facility structural prints to our licensed engineer and provide you with plans for a building permit (if necessary). Fabrication of wall elements begins in Boulder. Time: 2-3 weeks.
Construction & Installation: Our crew of craftsmen frame, sheath, hand texture and outfit your wall with anchors, flooring & finishes. Time: Approximately two weeks for the first 1,000 sq ft, one additional week per 1,000 sq ft thereafter.
Customer Service: Even after your wall is built you can continue to count on Eldorado for equipment, ongoing management training and annual inspections. We are always just a phone call away.
