Chris Warner is the founder and CEO of the Earth Treks Climbing Centers, a chain of three gyms, with 175 employees serving over 400,000 climbers each year. In addition to building a successful business, Chris has lead over 175 international mountaineering expeditions. He’s guided Everest (3 times) and climbed 3 of world’s 4 tallest peaks (Everest, K2 and Lhotse). He teaches leadership at Wharton, Hopkins, Loyola and other MBA Programs, to CEO groups, to Fortune 500 companies and within the Defense and Intelligence communities. He is the co-author of High Altitude Leadership and Upward Bound, both books explore the lessons that climbing have for business leaders. His TV credits include guiding the first reality TV show on Everest, a leadership special for the History Channel and an Emmy Nominated documentary about climbing K2 for NBC. As a business owner, educator and athlete, Chris’ goal is to teach others how to build teams that will succeed, despite the odds.
